Job Description:
JOB
TASKS
- Arrange pre-qualification site visit.
- Recruit,screen,and enroll participants.
- Schedule patients for study procedures.
- Obtain informed consent.
- Prepare and place advertisements.
- Maintain and dispense drugs and other supplies
Evaluate feasibility and design of protocols.
- Discuss protocol and potential concerns with PI and monitors.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents for
Sponsor.
- Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA Regulations and SOPs.
Draw blood, do ECGs, evaluate subjects regarding AEs
- Collect, code and evaluate data and prepare appropriate
documentation.
- Transcribe data from the source document to the subject CRF's.
- Educate all staff members regarding study design and time
lines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- would prefer at least 1 year of clinical
research experience, but fast learner might be acceptable

Job Description:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is accountable for achieving
FreeStyle Navigator sales objectives through profiling,
targeting, and calling on strategic accounts.
This position is responsible for the development,
management and growth of the health care professional (HCP)
recommendation in order to achieve sales and market share
growth. The major objective for this position is to grow the
FreeStyle Navigator business and build brand loyalty within
strategic accounts. He/she will call on these key accounts to
raise their level of awareness and increase the demand of
FreeStyle Navigator. The KAM will help to plan, direct, and
coordinate overall sales activities and strategies within a
given geographical area, while increasing sales, profits and
market share on a long-term basis. He/she is required to
maintain an active and visible role with cross channel
colleagues in order to increase awareness and demand for the ADC
product line.
Major Responsibilities:
1.
Achieve/exceed sales objectives within assigned geographic
territory by maintaining current diabetes base while increasing
market share
2.
Develops and maintains superior relationships with key diabetes
decision makers and influencers
3.
Exhibits proficiency in demonstrating all Abbott Diabetes Care
diabetes products
4.
Exhibits proficiency in demonstrating and training on all
ancillary data management software
5. Maintains a high profile with decision makers of the assigned
strategic accounts6.
Maintains an active role with the Clinical Science team
7.
Maintains an active role with the local regional HCP team and
Managers
8.
Maintains an active role with the Managed care team
9.
Maintains an active role with Mail DME team
10.
Arranges any training required within the strategic accounts
11.
Maintains a high profile with the professional diabetes
organizations in the assigned geographical area
12.
Completes all administrative duties in a timely fashion
13. Maintains a high degree of professionalism with customers
and peers.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
1.
Three years selling experience in the Healthcare or
Pharmaceutical industries
2. Two
years selling in the in diabetes category; monitoring, insulin,
insulin delivery preferred
3.
Excellent strategic planning and project management skills
4.
Strong written and oral communication skills
5.
Strong interpersonal skills
6. A
high degree of social confidence and presentation skills
7.
Computer proficiency
8.
Four year degree in a business discipline
9.
Must be willing to travel 40-60% during the workweek
10.
Must be willing to reside within the geographical area of the
assigned area
Accountability / Scope:
This position interfaces frequently with Field Sales, Marketing
and the company’s Customer Base. It requires a comprehensive
knowledge of the sales and distribution aspects of the
continuous glucose monitoring and glucose monitoring business.
Travel schedule may exceed 50%. Customer focus is frequent.
Compensation and recognition are tied directly to personal
performance. Involves considerable freedom to structure and
manage work independently. Evaluating information critically and
making decisions based on the data are important. Social
confidence and the ability to speak in a clear and articulate
manner are important. Ability to read behavioral cues and
establish/maintain close business relations with high-level
health care professionals is critical. Ability to persuade and
influence without direct control is also important.
